Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
Pokemon GO has just announced the Adventures Abound season featuring the pokemon found in the Paldea Region. This season of GO Battle League features a significant move updates includes nerfs, buffs, and new moves. In total it came with over 150 move updates.
With all these move updates, this video will focus on pokemon that received a significant buff for this upcoming season of GO Battle League either through moves specifically being buffed or access to new moves.
This week it is great league and electric cup. Electric Cup is a 1500CP (Great League) where pokemon with an electric subtyping are eligible. However, there are banned pokemon including heliolisk and charjabug.

People find out raichu has charm. Which leads to people running more steel/rock (magnezone, Graveler, etc). Which leads to every team having water gun Lanturn. Which then leads to more hisuian electrode to counter Lanturn. Which then leads to every Galv running cross poison instead of energy ball. The increase of Galv leads to double rock teams with graveler/golem in the back. Then the few people that have hidden power ground Luxray think they’re gonna sweep, but eventually realize that Luxray just flat out sucks because it can’t take a hit. It’s gonna be a big repeat of the last time we had this cup.

This is only my 2nd season, and I'm having flashbacks to Fossil cup where I lost 500 ELO simply because I tried to participate with what I had (basically nothing) because who the hell has a leveled up Alolan Graveler or a double moved (reads smudged hand) … LooksRai
