Would love type-bonus balls like the Lure Ball or Heavy Ball.
Not sure I see Dusk Ball happening, they probably don’t want to encourage people to play at night too much.

They released the Beast Ball. But only for one very specific event. And haven’t brought it back for any of the Ultra Beast raids.
Possibly never. Besides the master ball, they probably will never add more Poké Balls unless they make some sort of monetization practice with it.

In addition to what other people have said, it would also be a waste of bag space to hold different types of pokeballs for specific situations. This is why after johto, they never added the other evolution items and just simplified them to sinnoh stone or unova stone.

My question is what would be the point of the quick ball? I get maybe first throw it might be better to catch with, same goes for the timer ball but reversed. But ultimately it wouldn’t be much better than the 3 balls we already have now right?
Although i would say a heavy ball would be cool for xxl pokemon. And I do think luxury balls and dusk balls would be cool or more useful too.
But ultimately I’m not sure whether it would be better or honestly make things worse overall.

I don’t want that. we have a simple effective system, no need in cluttering it. I’d rather get 3 pokeballs, 2 great balls and an ultra ball than 6 different things I have to scroll through that are slightly better than a pokeball
None of those balls have any purpose in Pokemon go, it will just add junk that nobody will understand.
Please don’t ask for bew features. They’re not done screwing up the game with all the nonsense we just got, yet. They still have enough bugs to keep us busy being frustrated for a while.

My guess is never, especially for the Apriballs. There has been concerted effort in every generation they’ve been available after HGSS to make them exceedingly annoying to get ahold of precisely because fans like the aesthetic so much. Putting them in GO would be problematic. Either they’re available in finite quantities (and so no one would ever use them, since the RNG on catches in GO is very fickle), they’re available repeatably (vetoed by Pokemon company for devaluing apriballs in the main games, especially if we could use them in raid catches on guaranteed catch shinies), or they’re available for sale as premium items (same problem accounting for whales).
A shame, because I would love to get a shiny Virizion in a Love Ball someday. It’s a pain in the main games given the low odds of a shiny to start with and the difficulty of acquiring enough Love Balls to merit resetting for said shiny and then wasting dozens on a catch. But really, it’s unlikely in GO.
When they realize revenue is dipping a bit again they’ll surely introduce apriball packs of like 5 of each for like $10 or something dumb.

They’ll do it when you throw out hundreds of potions and revives that you will never use.
Just bring the balls back in the form of crafting them. They could make a mini game out of it where you can craft the other balls after getting the ingredients.

That honestly seems like a lot of items to keep track of. Maybe if they came from events and didn’t take up bag space. I could just imagine going out to get balls from pokestops and only getting those instead of the usual.
