Ask yourself what the chances you get a better one are.
It’s a crazy small chance to get a better one, so might as well. If you wait for a hundo, you could easily be waiting a couple years or longer.

I’d personally wait to see if it gets Glaive Rush (which could make it a better dragon attacker) or icicle spear (which would make it a better ice attacker). In general it should be worth investing- you’re only missing 3 attack points total, since each IV is 1 point.

In general, you just need to think if you actually need to use it for anything. Frigibax is rare enough that it might be fine to just power it up and evolve now however if you don’t have a use for it (like raids or GBL) then theres no need to rush it. Also thats lucky from a trade (higher IV minimum) so theres always the chance you trade and hit it a higher IV in the future.
I honestly wouldn’t care about all that though and would personally do it now just to say I have one.

Honestly what is it with this sub and IV’s? Some people are really saying wait and not joking… The difference between a 0 and perfect iv is like 5% at lvl 50. Most people will never notice the difference in ivs because they matter so little. Maybe for solo 5 star raids or pvp mirror match ups but other than that just power up what tou want lol

I would go for it especially because of mega garchomp raid day. This is the third best ice type raid attacker I think, so it will be great for the raid day

I would not. I would ask, whats its purpose? If for dex filling then sure, invest. PVE no, much better options. PVP, in masters league you want hundo or near. So dex filling reasons any iv combination is fine.

Man, it’s a 3/4096 or a 3/1331 with the weather boost chance of getting a ^(1)better one. Frigibax is nowhere near common enough for these odds to be worth it
^(1) – What attacks it has will make a lot more difference than three attack IVs…

Before you “invest” in it, what are you getting for that investment? If you spend a bunch of stardust on it, it’s not likely it will ever be used for anything, and that’s not investing, it’s wasting.
I know some people like to power up their best of every Pokémon, and that’s fine. But IMO, it’s better to let some dust and candy stockpile, and only use them when you need to (building a specific GBL team, building a specific raid counter team, etc.)
