Available *for purchase* from retailers in Japan. Kind of lame that they’re not shipping it with the game even though switch boxes have a slot for it.

Honestly, I do miss the nostalgic appeal of Manual Books, but with the ubiquity of the internet now there’s really no reason for them. I wish more games would have at least digital manual books like how Nintendo did the ones for some of the virtual console games on the Wii U (I’m not sure if it was all of them, but I remember they included Golden Sun’s manual books.) Or fun interactive manual books like they did with the Labo.

Man they really fucked the physical release for this one. Awful box art and then having to pay extra for the manual?? Just in Japanese to wtf is this shit.

This is not an instructions manual included in the game, that is just an advertisement pamphlet that you can grab for free. You can either check it out in the youtube vid that i linked in this comment or by translating the words of the pamphlet, like the following:
