I could see myself getting really into this. One of the reasons I don’t care for the Pokémon games is that I just don’t like 95% of their designs, but I adore Dragon Quest’s enemy designs. Also, DQ11 is one of the best RPGs ever.

Play the demo, love it. Can have 4 monsters out at once like classic jrpg is already a huge plus. The game’s UI and battle design are also feel comfortable. I hope it has a decent story.

Really liked DQM Joker 1 and 2, so I’m really excited for this game!

Looks like a fun time, I never did get to play any previous monster games within the DQ series, but I know they’re loved. I do wish fusion stuff created some actual fusions in at least some cases rather than higher-tier monsters, but that’s just a little niggle of mine.
I wonder when we’re gonna hear some more news about DQ III’s HD-2D thing, though. It’s been a while. (And I figured I should wait for that version to finish off my playthrough of the original trilogy after playing the downloadable releases of I and II on the Switch previously)

The graphics in the opening bits of the demo were a mixed bag, but I had a blast once I got to the exploring and battling portion. Having four monsters in your party with another four available on your bench is pretty cool. Looking forward to this.

If it plays like the demo, I’m holding off until Switch 2. Performance really kills the mood of what otherwise appeared to be a fun game.

Instabuy for me. Played the demo and loved it. It’s still got the best monster catching and fusion systems out there. Even in the demo I was burning my brain on how to best prepare my team.
DragonShine
Can’t wait for this! I like that they added that you can find monster eggs in the wild. Can’t wait to see what I find out there.
Pathogenesls
Looks like a f2p mobile game

I’ve heard good things about this series. Definitely gonna play this one as my first 🙂

anyone know if you can continue your progress from the demo? Gonna get this either way, just wanna see if I can get a jump on it without starting over

Based on what I can see from the trailer it looks there’s been a slight graphical update making Psaro look more like a part of the world he walks around in. I could of course be wrong and jt might still feel a bit off when playing the full version. But I like what I SEE in the trailer better than the demo.

I wonder how many monsters will be in the game. Hopefully a couple hundred at least. DQ bestiary is huge

Unfortunately infinity strash didn’t look good enough for me to get but I’m very excited to play this day 1!

I’m a little disappointed in this one. Considering the other options in the genre I don’t know if I can justify playing a poorly voice acted JRPG slog even if it does have the fun monsters from the dragon warrior series. As bright and colorful as the graphics look they also feel a little bit dated

So you’re a pokemon trainer in the world of Dragon Quest. You son of a B!$^& I’m in.

Hoping the monster variety is wider than in Treasures, that one had so many spots taken up by recolors
