Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.

Pokemon GO has just announced the Adventures Abound season featuring the pokemon found in the Paldea Region. This season of GO Battle League features a significant move updates includes nerfs, buffs, and new moves. In total it came with over 150 move updates.

With all these move updates, this video will focus on pokemon that received a significant buff for this upcoming season of GO Battle League either through moves specifically being buffed or access to new moves.

This week it is great league and electric cup. Electric Cup is a 1500CP (Great League) where pokemon with an electric subtyping are eligible. However, there are banned pokemon including heliolisk and charjabug.

In my last video I went over the best electric cup team that dominated – galvantula, lanturn, and hisuian electrode.

Yesterday was wooper community day and the introduction of the NEW pokemon CLODSIRE. A poison, ground pokemon that is very bulky. It should have a ton of play immediately in the Great League Meta

In today’s video I hunt NEW Clodsire with a team of Defense Deoxys, Shadow Gligar, and Greninja

  1. the team looks very bulky not bad! I am using Regi, Sableye, And Serperior! let me tell you Serperior wins agains Clodsire… Serperior can take one Slodge B easy am 2 FP am some fast moves am done… Clod really needs shields! not to mention that Sableye is a terror. Dark/ghost! Takes down Medi, Resist Poison, Am what generalist!

  2. I was grinding out with a DD/S.Gligar/Drapion team before Clodsire was released so I might actually try Greninja in back 🤔

  3. Think you got em all lol I didn’t see 1 clodsire today at all I was even able to bring carbink back safely

  4. Stayed to the end, I think videos on try hard elo climbing teams would be good or like show some of the common core teams people are likely to run into. Seeing how you run a team helps me plan better as an opponent for a team like steelix gligar + w/e

  5. My anti-Clodsire team had Forretress, Mandibuzz and Sandy Wormadam. It lost to three Clodsire teams though funnily enough beat a Swampert team

  6. I finally found a team with Talonflame that I had success with. Went from 2150 to Vet running talon-jelli-swampert. Saw a lot of clod from 2200-2400 and boy does it feel tanky and spammy taking shields as a safe swap. A few times based on their lead I should have switched into swampert instead of jelli not knowing it well.

  7. I changed one little Pokemon on my team today and lost a hundred elo. My backline was hard countered multiple times, kinda unlucky there. Also made mistakes at the early sets. I made my goal this season of expert on sunday, might still want to try to climb, so tryhard teams would be appreciated.

  8. isn't clodsire just a nidoqueen with a bit more bulk? i'd still choose nidoqueen due to access to poison fang poison jab, i mean in retrospect they both carry Stone edge for coverage other than that there's nothinf necessarily unique about clod
