using a remote raid pass and not catching is literally a junk punch from Niantic. You should get extra premier balls for using a remote.

Yeah been burning through my golden razz started off yesterday with 90 golden I’m down to 20 atm. Win the raid get 3 but takes 10 plus for the damn things to be caught. I’ve also had 4 run as well so I feel your pain.

Yesterday while using my daily incense I found a wild articuno for the first time ever, one shot only and it ran away, a few meters later, found it again, same happened, understand the pain 🥲
thats normal for 5 star raids, at this point i just do em for exp and rarely care about catching them

Literally me with Genesect. I got lucky on the first one actually being a shiny! But the other 4 I did all ran away.

You need to get on r/pokemongoraids. I’m usually in a raid within two minutes using that.
I’ve lost 2 so far
I gave up last time it was dropped. 7 raids back to back with consistent excellent throws and golden razz for them to all run. This time I barely catch it on my last ball in the first raid. Rewarded me with 98% IVs so I’m calling it quits.

Yeah I have had a 5* run away throwing every single ball as excellent with golden razz.
Though usually you catch if you get most throws as excellent, gotta keep practicing that throwing game haha 😉

And here I am. First raid when they ran last year I got a shiny. First raid today I got another shiny. Had to do one more just to get a regular version(on last ball..)
I got lucky.
My 1st raid for him was terrible IV’s and took 17 premier balls with golden razz on every throw and caught on last one next 2 raids ran away both times.
I just got one through battle league, try there!
I’m so sorry! I have pretty rough luck with raids too. I did see you mentioned the long wait for the raid- I know others have already suggested it, but Pokegenie and other apps are great for finding quick raids (you can also host if you don’t have a remote pass and have a local one nearby). I hope you have some better luck soon ):
Took me to the very last ball with at least 8 excellent throws and several greats, all with golden razz, to catch him and then his IVs sucked lol
I can feel your pain. Genesect was one of my favorite Pokémon and out of 3 rides I did, 2 of them ran away.
Dang. My wife and I beat em tonight. We let our kids do the catching , my daughter caught it in 1 try and the other ran away ! Lame. But, we know we can duo it and have time to do it again for sure.
