Heard a *lot* of good things about this game, excited to try it out myself soon.

Anyone able to detail a bit about the combat? Like the look of it, just not sure how actiony it is (I am garbage at ARPGs).

Great game, I’m playing it on Steam Deck and really loving it: interesting story, without overly long texts, nice combat and very good growth system for the playable character (I usually describe it like a mix of FF9 and FF10).

  4. I come out of the woodwork to praise this game whenever I see it mentioned. Played this on Steam Deck at the start of the year and put 60 hours into it. Insanely addictive, and with a bonkers plot that often gets ridiculous at times, but is endlessly entertaining.

But it’s worth noting that if you completely dislike grinding in any way, this is not the game for you. Astlibra Revision is swimming with progression systems that there is always something to grind, and I found it was recommended to grind a bit before moving on to new areas because there’s a pretty big difficulty spike halfway through the game that can take you off-guard if you’re underleveled.

  5. Great game for a portable system. Played through it on the Steam Deck, didn’t cause any motion sickness while in car.
