I can recognize many models and animations re-used from Dragon Quest XI. But that doesn’t matter when they look good already.
I love the sheer amount of variations on monsters that you don’t see in the mainline games, like the Onion Slime LOL.

Nice but I’m still waiting for a DQ Builders 3!

I’m on the fence about this game. Tried the demo and while charming and fun, it lacks the polish from the mainline games, which is somewhat expected, but also a bit disappointing, especially when it comes to the graphics and the framerate.
