I mean if you only have 700 space then it is better to use some of those on a Legendary or Mythical.

Right now I am investing rare candies in Larvesta, yes I have one and has good stats too, and obviously legendaries.

I think it’s funny that there are a group of people here that think storage purchases are a scam
I used to raid consistently at raid hour and we could get about 6 in that hour. 2 free and 4 paid. About $3 a week (and packs used to be better)
The bad packs aside this is one of the better priced games. Most games go after whales overtly. 10 picks for… $15… And it’s over right away. This was $3 to hang out with people. I mean. A couple of beers is a lot more. And this is to stay current and cutting edge in the game.This is why it was supposed to be about a group, and why remote raids were dumb and why Niantic made moves to encourage in person raiding. It’s only a problem because people would have to put out an effort to get a group, though with discord now being so common and everything else it’s easier than ever to connect to new people. It reminds me of how people never wanted to do multiplayer stuff in MMOs… People want to solo things so bad that the game starts to facilitate it in order to make more money. Not that I’m against group finders, but it does ruin something about the experience
So with the small price to keep current even out of pocket I don’t mind spending my free coins on storage. It’s not a scam. Believing you need 50 of every legendary and shundos is the scam.

I agree. I’ve been staying at 400 storage space my entire time playing, and while I don’t hoard my rare candy, I still rarely if ever have more than 20 of each pokeball. Sometimes I’ll see screenshots on this sub where someone has over 1000 balls, and I can’t picture any scenario where I’d need that many. Even on com days I manage just fine with <50, because I just spin stops as I walk around.

I have a fair few, but what has recently sucked up my storage space are golden razz because they decided even tier one raids needed multiple golden razz just in time for the masterball research and TMs because my local routes love handing those out like cheap Halloween candy.

* Always have <30 balls per day, max out gifts/research/daily incense/free bundle for balls every day and use them all on daily walk.
* Maxxed out item space of 400/400, constantly spamming (or deleting) potions/revives/nanabs. Using balls constantly.
* Always maxxing out Pokemon storage (now at 697/700) and deleting duplicate 3 stars and even the rare shiny lol

Usually keep about a 100 buffer and then siphon off any extras to whatever Pokemon I’m focusing on at the time (just finished getting Rayquaza to 40) but you can honestly use them for whatever you want. I’ve got friends who are putting them towards Volcarona. I’m sure we’ll get a Larvesta day eventually, so I’m a little hesitant to put candy into it, but that’s just me.

Yes, over 2k rare candy here. I’ve put some into all legendaries and mythicals, enough on everyone to get them to level 40. Put some into vivillion, evolved all of them. Still dont know where to put the rest.
