(i used golden razz and ultra ball btw)

  2. No , it is possible it’s just very hard to catch and almost always flees after a failed attempt

  3. It’s possible, but very hard. Base catch rate is 0.2% i think

That happened to me Saturday, and my fiancé and I were so disappointed for the rest of the day

  5. DavidFrattenBro

the more it happens to you, the less disappointed you’ll be each time

Most definitely not impossible, my son caught 2 within a week of each other prior to the master ball being released 😒😂

Anyone got 5 bucks I can borrow for Raids? I got 3 raids I gotta do and I’m an urban player. Also unlucky Moltres runaway brother, hopefully you get the next 1 and it’s a Shiny Hundred.

I’m guessing, but since I returned to Pokemon go I think I’ve seen maybe 8 Galarian Birds. I caught one with a Master Ball and all others broke out and ran away. Based on the posts here, it feels like I might see dozens more without catching a single one.

I soooo want to find one these to use that great ball I just earned on.

No I caught mine without a masterball

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. You just need to quick catch it.

I’ve gone 1 for 12 on Galarian Birds. Caught a Zapdos. IVs 7/15/6.

  13. GardenSquid1

    I caught a Zapdos.

But it was an excellent catch with golden razz and the guy was only 700-something CP.

I know that one is so hard to catch let alone find I only have the zapdos

  15. I caught Galarian Articuno on the luckiest critical catch. And now I have 2 masterballs to use on those other two fuckers whenever they decide to show themselves

No need to brag about catching such a rare bird. Tired of people flexing about their Pidgeots 😔 /j

    I used my masterball on a 1400 cp galar zapdos. It’s a 3 star 🙂 I haven’t caught a galar moltres yet

  18. darthdoit

Not at all. I’ve managed to get a Moltres and Zapdos without a masterball so far. They both had ridiculously low CP though

  19. ceilingflan

I came across a Zapdos at 2799 CP that fled even after a golden raspberry and an ultimate ball and I still have not recovered.

  20. Iscrewedup778970

I still haven’t caught a single one of those

  21. Zekrozma_the_second

I had the exact same situation. I just said “Eh, I’ll find another one.” Wanna know the funny part ? **It was over a year ago.**

  22. LeSweetMaister

    Had the same yesterday.
    So fucking hurts

  23. unkindly-raven

i caught the purple articuno without a masterball when it first showed up for me ,, moltres keeps fleeing , and used my master on the zapdos 🥲 i keep coming across the moltres but haven’t had any luck in getting one yet lol

  24. SlowResearch2

It’s not impossible. I scored a critical catch once. But it is super unlikely. A master ball really is the best move for these birds. There’s nothing else in this game that warrants the master ball as much as the galarian birds imo

  25. InkisitorJester

I’ve been using the incense at least 5 days a week for the last 2 months and Im yet to see one of them birds.

  26. nkbetts17

My Go Plus+ caught one using a regular Pokeball. Don’t lose hope.

  27. FuzzyBanana41

At least you’ve seen one. I have not.

  28. Cptsparkie23

Very hard to. Get lucky is the ony real answer, even if you mitigate with Golden Razz and excellent throws. Got lucky with a trash Galarian Zapdos once, then couldn’t catch any of them afterwards.

People call me a mad man for using my master ball on a galarian moltres when it’s actually harder to catch than any raid shiny legendary I’ve ever encountered
