That’s weird, usually the game they announce comes out at the end of the same month.

This was a very impressive late gen N64 game. It ran quite poorly even during that time, i felt the fps was too choppy compared to contempoary N64 3D games like DK64 or the Banjo games, but visually it was stunning.
The reflections on some of the levels and the texture work/geometry was next-level.
I had this Banjo-Kazooie promotional VHS from Toys R Us when I was a kid, and at the end there was a montage of other N64 games. I didn’t even own an N64 but I wanted to play all those games so badly, and Jet Force Gemini was one of the ones that really stood out to me.
Then I finally played it when Rare Replay came out, and I have to say it has not aged well. Developers at that time really hadn’t figured out how to do 3D shooter controls, especially in third-person.
We’ve gotten Banjo, 007, and now Jet Force before Diddy Kong Racing and Donkey Kong 64. From this moment on until they’re announced, I will believe that we are getting remakes.

It’s the last one of the promised N64 games for this year (And that was back then in September 2022).
No year was promised for GBA games so Golden Sun fans will have to suffer.

This is one of those games that didn’t get the love and respect it deserved at the time. It was truly an amazing, deep game with innovative puzzles and a satisfying shooting experience.
For the quality of game that it was, it really deserved to be more well-known. It was honestly one of the best games ever to come out on the N64.
This is my favorite N64 game, and it brings so much good memories. By far the most hyped I’ve been for a Nintendo Switch Online game announcement

Oh god, I absolutely loved this game as a kid. The controls are gonna be clunky as hell, but I’m hyped.
This time I’m ACTUALLY going to rescue all the tribals and beat the game.

WHOA! The only thing that would surprise me more at this point is Metroid Prime 4 actually releasing on Switch. This is an absolutely huge announcement for fans of this absolute gem.

Honestly what I’m most sad about is that it’s tied to NSO. This game deserves a high quality remake for the switch, and a direct sequel. I’d even pay money for a simple remaster of the game like they did with Metroid prime.
