Frigibax has been available since early October I believe, but has always been a pretty rare spawn.

Judging by my Pokedex I have already seen 5 but as I remember only when I used daily incense. So yes, it is rare but not as rare as Gimmighoul.

I’ve caught one in the wild and hatched one from an egg. That’s it. And I play every day. I’m trying to get the hatched one to best buddy right now and walk for the candies to evolve him.
Frigibax makes a really fun buddy! He’s cute and makes funny faces when you play with him/ feed him.

About a month ago I saw the shadow of this little guy show up on my nearby spawns list as I was laying in bed about to turn off the lights. I shot up, threw my shoes and a sweater on, and ran outside and down the block to get it. My wife was very confused but I just turned my head back and said “Pokemon thing” as I closed the door. When I got back home, she looked up from her book and simply to humor me, “Did you catch it?” “I did 😀 😀 :D”

I got mine a few weeks ago. He’s my buddy now and we’re raising candy for him to become Baxcalibur. She’s a solid 15/15/10 too which makes me happy.

I got my first one earlier this week, I’ve seen his silhouette on the nearby locations dealie but never in game. Maybe in a couple years I’ll collect enough candies to evolve one! I love my Baxcaliber in Scarlet.

According to my Pokédex I have encountered and caught 5 altogether. The first time I saw the shadow for it in my nearby Pokemon I left the house at 2am and ended up going to the wrong PokeStop and missed it. A few days later I saw it again and went on a long walk to get to the PokeStop, only to find that the PokeStop was inside a business complex I couldn’t really access. The shadow kept disappearing and reappearing so I wasn’t sure if there was a glitch or if it took me too long to get there. I ended up walking around the block around the PokeStop and finally one of these little guys popped up on my map! I was so excited!!
And then randomly since then four more have popped up in the wild! Sounds like I’m just super lucky. Congrats on catching one, OP!

I’ve seen/caught 7 in the wild and hatched one from an egg. They were recently introduced to the game and are usually a pretty rare spawn, but from what I’ve heard I’ve gotten lucky in that sense.

I was sitting at a red light when it popped up. Then I ran down the street to catch one. Then hatched one from an egg and that gave me enough candles to evolve it.

My Baxcalibur (max evolution) is my best buddy currently. I’ve caught 4 in the wild since Oct and been running it hard with rare candies to build him up. Def rare but one of the stronger ice types for raids once you build it up

I found one at a park that my kids had never been to before. It popped up on my radar after picking up my youngest from school, so we raced over and I got it. It’s too bad that it’s zero stars but oh well.
Last week, I ran away from my in-laws’ house to get stuff at the grocery store. My wife texted me that she could see the outline of a Frigibax in the same shopping center as the store. I caught it right as it disappeared off my wife’s radar. Our trade was lucky, so she has a near perfect Lucky Frigibax now.
