I definitely regret getting this for like $20 or whatever lol. Its kind of a barebones in terms of “collection” but its a lot of games and for $6 I think that’s a more-than-fair price.

Did the lag ever get fixed for this? The collection was almost unplayable for the first year.

  4. SmackyTheFrog00

Requisite buyer beware; this collection is good for anything turn-based, or not action-oriented but if you’re even a little bit sensitive to input lag, you’ll have a miserable time. The input lag is pretty huge compared to most other collections.

Nice, haven’t played altered beast in forever- picking up now

Update: found myself still liking sonic 2 the most…ironically I still have a genesis w sonic 2 hooked up on an old tv (also have flashback, nba jam, SF II and some others not in the collection). – still glad I got the collection though, if nothing else to show the kids what we had before vs what we have now.
…streets of rage and shinobi also good in the collection…and i remembered toe jam and earl being better but 30 years ago things were different:)

  6. There’s a bit of input lag, but for this price, you’re getting a lot of bang for your buck. There are much less entertaining ways to spend $6.

I don’t recommend this. The sega collection on the 360 was way better than this. I spend like 10 bucks on it back of this and the lag and overall cheap feel of the title was huge turn off

  8. Conversation_Dapper

    Apparently I already bought this

  9. otherwhitematt

Echoing that there’s some input lag when playing docked, but I haven’t noticed anything when playing in handheld mode. If you want to live the dream of the Sega Nomad, it’s perfect, and taking inflation into account, way cheaper than the Nomad ever was!

Damn! That’s a good deal i wish I would have got mine at that price lol but it was worth even when it was less discounted

  11. RenegadeSteak

Scanned game list hoping for Road Rash. Leaving disappointed 😤

  12. Robertosaur

Shining Force series is my favorite RPG series of all time. At $5.99 that’s a steal. If you like tactic rpgs, it’s absolutely worth it.

  13. How can this not have sonic 3 and knuckles 🙁
