With the recent announcement(?) of the sequel, the original Dragon’s Dogma has just gotten some steep sales. It’s $4.99 on the eShop, but [Best Buy](https://www.bestbuy.com/site/dragons-dogma-dark-arisen-nintendo-switch-digital/6355492.p?skuId=6355492) and [Amazon](https://www.amazon.com/Dragons-Dogma-Dark-Arisen/dp/B07SRK71FN) have a digital code at a mere $3.92.
Personally, I find the game extremely overrated (even for its time), but I’m certainly not gonna tell you that it’s not worth four bucks, especially at a time when interest in the game is spiking and people might be eyeing the $5 one.

I can’t believe this game consistently goes on sale for this cheap lol.
I wouldn’t say it’s necessarily overrated, but it takes a while for it to click. I honestly didn’t appreciate how good the game was until near the end game.
Even eshop is still pretty cheap not sure I make a big deal over like a $1.50
I highly recommend it. The battles are great and epic!
play this game immediately
My question is, right now this game is in one of the ps plus free games, so would any recommend me to play this on the switch besides the PS5? Does it has good performance on the switch? Is it better to play it on the go as on the living room?
The combat is outstanding but I couldn’t get into the walking for half an hour, slow as fuck between quest markers. And I would have loved to like it but I can’t bring myself to keep pushing.
I would really love to just make a custom party of 3 Pawns and run through the game with them. I get the idea of the 2 hireable pawn slots, but to journey through the game as a group of 4 homies would get me more invested. Would allow for more fun combos of classes also.
the game is good but quite janky
one of my faves, and for less than 5 bucks, you really can’t go wrong
If you buy dark arisen on switch, are there unlimited ferry stones or no?
I remember you needed the original game plus dark arisen so you could fast travel unlimited-like. Otherwise it was annoying and limited
I love this game. Thank you. Can’t wait to jump back into this on the go.
