I was on a cruise a few days ago, leaving Sydney harbour in Australia, as we left the coast and started going further out to sea (noteably not international waters at this point) I encountered the purple oricorio, which is only meant to be encountered around Asia and some of the pacific. The pink oricorio is the one that usually spawns in Australia. Anyone have any idea why this occurred???

And, I did also incense a kangaskhan in international waters off the Australian coast, so it was clearly still registering me as being in Australia
there is a small area around avalon/whale beach that where this is available
Australia is part of apac while India is part of Europe by niantic standards so yeah Australia should get that oricorio.. Lucky you
