they better not raise the level cap for pokemon. 50 is already a huge scam that many cheaters exploit with non-raidable pokemon.

Lol PhudduAk its not 25 Luckys per day, its maximum of 25 overall Luckys.
Since every old player already have more than 25 Luckys its a useless feature.
Maybe you can find somebody with 2018 or older pokemon who doesnt have 25 Luckys.

Not quite on lucky trade, it’s a max per character total, not per day. So not guaranteed to be lucky if you’ve hit 25 total lucky trades on your account.

I play a fair bit and I only hit 47 recently.. I don't want to see a cap increase anytime soon unless they reduce the exp curve significantly
you totaly mis understood that guaranted lucky stuff^^ its of course not 25 guaranted luckys a day. Its 25 guaranted Luckies traded with exact that rule.No old luckys do not count. just the GUARANTED TRADE LUCKY counts. just the one you trade with EXACT that rule. if you have 100 luckys from lucky friends but none of them was traded with that 2018 rule, you can still guarante 25 lucky trade with that rule. This rule was first 10 guaranted (2016 mon) + 5 with 2017 mons and now its + 10 (25 overall) with 2018 mons.
but be aware, if you already used a few guaranted lucky trades with that rule, you cant do 25 anymore. in my example i already did 15 guaranted luckys so now i just can do 10 more.
This makes me wonder if you could make an Alt and trade with your main accts 2018 mons n get 25 guaranteed Luckys 🤔 or do they both have to be 2018 mon to go guaranteed lucky?

Please no level 60 yet lol. Im 49 and about to be level 50 😅 i wanna leave it that way for awhile and enjoy it like how i had it at level 40 before 50 went live.
I personally think it's to early for 60 if ever. I know people that taken years just to get to lvl 40 never mind the push to 50. Even those past 40 some of the people will just be held up by some of the tasks as others have mentioned. They would have to revamp exp again maybe lift the leveling tasks for 41-50 and reward people who made it before a set date like they did when the cap was lifted to 50. Honestly think this is just something to help newer and existing players to get that push to 40 since so much more of the game opens up at lvl 40 like actually getting to use XL candy.
The fact that trading is limited at all and cost a crazy amount of stardust, is pathetic. The Pokemon community supporting something so dumb shows why this game is the way it is.
Pokemon go is nothing like a Pokemon game should be.

I am little confused. What do you mean by the threshold for the lucky trades? Is this going to be the first 25 lucky pokemons in the inventory? Say I already have 30 lucky pokemons in the inventory, am i still going to be benefited from this?
There isn't a limit on lucky's you can get per day, they're talking about the guaranteed lucky's from trading 2016/2017 pokemon, and now it will be 2018 pokemon too

Trouble with going beyond level 50 is – only really hardcore players have met that milestone, I would wager it would be in the realm of < 1% of players. It will just kill it for me. In addition, imagine the god awful mess of getting a pokemon beyond level 50 and to level 60. Nope, nope, nope I will be bailing out at that point as I imagine a lot of others will.
I hit level 50 back in March 2021. Having said that, I've noticed not many have hit level 50 even at this point, and even trying to grind out a lot of the quest requirements for each level from 41-50 are just too much for the average players.
Increasing the cap to 60 doesn't really make sense since as mentioned in other comments, it's just going to filter out the small percentage of those who are already level 50 for those super hardcore/dedicated players. I personally just stopped grinding since the burnout and plethora of events are just too many in too short of a span.

To conclude that a max level increase is imminent just because there are a bunch of events that feature xp bonuses is very far fetched in my opinion. I think all of this is just so that newer players can rank up faster. Having worked at a similar company, I know that it is usually top priority to recruit new players and motivate them to play and invite more new players. This is why so many of the events lately appear rather boring to veteran players. If you think about it, implementing level 60 will not be that easy – how do you scale the XL candy requirements? Or will they introduce XXL candy when the time comes and use the same scale as normal candy and XL candy again?

Yeah because it's so easy to get to level 40! Pokemon Go's timed research last 2 seasons have been insanely hard to complete for rule area players. Just ridiculous

I'd love to see Level 60! I need a new goal to grind for. I would also love to see some sort of Battle Pass with the reward being Bottle Caps to increase our Pokémon's IV.
When I heard about the leaks for this event I was hoping for more of a clone from the kanto tour. Maybe put the regionals in Eggs or 3* raids, and let us buy a ticket for boosted shiny odds. I need like 4-6 pokemon and their evolution lines to complete my shiny kanto dex.
