Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
The new season of Timeless Travel has been announced with buffs to pokemon like talonflame, toxicroak, and azumarill and nerfs to steelix breaking swipe and medicham. Here is a full analysis of the new buffs, nerfs, and pokemon with new moves.
This week is master league and great league: holiday cup. A 1500CP league with normal, grass, electric, ice, flying, and ghost typings.
In this video we go over one of my first best teams of altaria, lanturn, and then added froslass to deal with whimsicott.

While I was grinding to 50, this game was a good way to motivate me to lose weight. In a year and a half I’ve lost about 80 pounds and that’s largely by walking, playing a game, and trying to eat better. Idk if that’s doable with schedule and knees, plus snow in Canada, but something to consider

I’m 6’2” 175. Was at 195 last year. I just started weight training, eating more overall, but less carbs, and more protein (meat and protein shakes). I built muscle which increased metabolism and burned fat easy.
Maybe consider 3 days a week not playing only 1 or 2 games (not a full set of 5) and instead working out.
Can still post videos if you want, but they will be shorter. Not sure what your viewer retention is, but I would still watch a short video packed with good insight.

Just getting to my ELO now…the way through 18/19 this weekend was a lot of fires. Skeledirge, Talonflame, Charizard and AWak. Watergun has been much more useful when compared to spark down here.
As someone who is in the same boat lifestyle wise (age, family, work) I think it is awesome that you've been able to keep up as much as you do, both in terms of content and gameplay. I don't think it is possible to have a GBL only channel that could support a family at the cost of living in Canada today. You have the right outlook on it. It's a hobby and if you can make a little money off of it that's icing on the cake.

Any meta with frostlass- use frostlass. I totally noticed a big jump in both quantity and quality over the last year. Thank you for all your hard work. I think as far as PvP content goes, youtube is fairly saturated with the same 'team highlight with commentary' format. The channel's attention to deep analysis sets it apart- like beyond the hype and the fast-move counting tutorial. I love the stream of consciousness style of analysis. Moving forward, if focusing on quality over quantity, I would love to see a white-board style analysis of potential leads and how to play out specific matches on paper, with limited game footage used as an example

Hi Dan, thank you all the videos you made, it help me to understand more about the game in term of the pvp, I start playing the game since it first came out then stop because got boring. Just pick the game back up after the pvp was introduce couple years ago, so I actually behind in term of building Pokémon’s for pvp. And you show us that how to use different Pokémon’s to play the different leagues. It just bring back all the interest to the game for me. Thank you. And Dan, family and health come first before anything.
