Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.
The new season of Timeless Travel has been announced with buffs to pokemon like talonflame, toxicroak, and azumarill and nerfs to steelix breaking swipe and medicham. Here is a full analysis of the new buffs, nerfs, and pokemon with new moves.
This week is master league and great league: holiday cup. A 1500CP league with normal, grass, electric, ice, flying, and ghost typings.
In this video we go over a holiday cup team featuring unova stunfisk and skeledirge. Although these pokemon don’t work together, both are very strong in this meta.

Skele, Dub, Vig is the only team I've really had much success with. The occasional one turn lag or denial hurts so much with Incinerate though
Love your videos thanks for your help. Ive actually gone on an insane tear with giraffe in the lead vig as ss and lanturn with spark in the back. Also spark is just consistently so much better. Thanks for all you do!

Dan, i believe the defensive trait on pvpoke means that the pokemon has a typing that has a decent amount of resistance, not defensive in the sense that it is bulky
Whimsicott, Dunsparce, Skeledirge worked best for me this holiday cup. Whimsicott broke all the Lanturn and Altaria cores and Skeledirge has been one of my favorite pokemon to use even before incinerate buff 👍🏻 now it’s just melting everything with energy or shield advantage 💪🏻

Speaking of "banked videos" what about a Bank video – as in your Pokemon bank/storage.
What do you replace with Blast Burn? Incinerate already gives you some good fire damage, STAB Shadow Ball is great, and you talked about the advantage of Disarming Voice.
I think I used Stunfisk and sableye with vigoroth in the beginning of the cup.
Im so sick of skeledirge. It has no business beating certain Pokemon
Just hit ace last night with dubwool charabug and Mr skeledrige with shadow ball and Crunch for the debuffs been running this team for the past few days and been goin positive in every set some 5-0 runs
I was running it with thunder shock with Vigoroth and wiggly in the front today and been doing good with it
I think Skeledirge has some great defensive qualities tbh. Yeah it’s weak to five types but you double resist bug, normal, fighting; and single resist grass, fire, steel, fairy, and ice. Sure it’s not the tankiest Pokemon out there but you can definitely wall out various threats (my commonly used Lurantis for example). Great video!
in this cup personally ive been running crunch on skeledirge and ive enjoyed it more as getting a defense drop can be huge over disarming
recommend charjabug on the lead then skele and lanturn in the back been going well for me, got it from Lars
I think the key to skeledirge being so great that I haven’t heard a lot of people talk about is that fairy/ghost charge moves provide nearly perfect neutral coverage
