I am such a pokemon dork, my work desk is filled with pokemon plushies, and I still couldn’t give less a shit about this, and damn that hurts. First time I just didn’t buy the dlc cuz there was just nothing worth looking forward to.
I wish Game Freak cared about pokemon as much as its fans, but they just don’t. Not anymore. I played this game through its story and the game was just too poorly made to enjoy.
I would give so much to get the Game Freak from 1999 that called in the assist in gold/silver and not only made the game work, but squished the old region into less than a megabyte.
Sorry if this comes off whiny. It just sucks to really like something and be disappointed without much hope for the future.

I have not touched this game since after launch, can’t believe it launch in that state yet year after still the same performance. So jarring from a steam deck game to a game like that. Other switch games are fine
