This channel is where you come if you want ideas for:
Great League Teams
Ultra League Teams
Master League Teams

Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.

This week is open ultra league and the Hisui Cup. The Hisui Cup is a 1500cp league with pokemon from the Hisuian Region

Man this cup is RPS.

  1. "This meta sucks."

It really does. I'm still relatively new to the PVP scene, and despite the limited cups mostly being my friend, this one is the worst.

  2. Drifblim and gliscor are my two toughest to flip leads w. my current team. I've been having good luck with cherrim, gastrodon, munchlax safeswitch. Cherrim shuts down all the most common leads I've been facing at my ELO. It also helps that people forgot that munchlax can one shot a toxicroak with bulldoze.

  3. An Ultra League video would be greatly appreciated. I tried UL last night for the first time.
I built Skeledirge, Annihilape, Florges, and Ampharos. I went 2-3 twice before falling asleep.
I could also build Venusaur, Dragonite, Milotic, Trevenant, and/or Bellibolt, in order of affordability.
    Any suggestions?

  4. I'm amazed you are able to climb using this crazy variety of teams. Currently am not doing good even when sticking to one particular team, hats off you !!

  5. I was afraid of Hisui cup cause it has types I am not yet good with… ghost, poison, psychic who?.. So lately I played GL but watched a lot of Hisui cup videos, including yours. And today I started with Froslass, Gliscor, Wormadam team, it did good but Froslass seemed the most useless 😁 so I went out and collected more Bidoofs and started using Bibarel as lead, and this team was really good! I lost a few battles, but mostly because I ran out of TMs so my Gliscor and Wormadam actually don't have recommended charged attacks.

  6. I feel Gallade is being severely overlooked. I’ve been using it and it’s not that bad. Confusion does double super effective to the poison fighters and neutral to ghosts. Has close combat for the darks and steels, and leaf blade for gliscor, and gastrodon.

  7. Anyone fight against a Giratina? I did in this meta. I don't think it was a legit one since the cp cap is 1500. I just want to make sure I'm not crazy and there are legit Giratina out there with low cp.

  8. This video is to straight forward! Lol Basti takes down Drifb no problem… Wormadam Trash so fine work on it well if the Drifb do t have Mystical Fire… If you think about the weakness of a Mon yeah one can say that o e will lose to that but not really!
In my case I have Basti in the lead so against Dan I think he will go with Gasto just in case of fighters, I switch Wormadam… the confusion will chunk badly I mud-Slap do t do much to nothing ( bug type) in the end I got a Gastro for Empolion with in equal shields am Basti has his Drifb… game over… which it is what happens so far! Man I love this team of my! Lol

  9. Honestly I don't mind this meta too much. I think it was you that mentioned about Caleb Peng claiming the small & condensed metas are the best because when everyone is running the same few Pokémon, it's skill that makes the difference.
I don't really agree, but for me a small meta is enjoyable if you can still get away with running spice without getting absolutely demolished by the top few meta picks.
There are plenty of flexible corebreakers in this cup that hardly anyone else is running & because everyone is running the same few Pokémon, you don't have to cover for many Pokémon so its pretty easy to build an anti meta team. It does get boring, but thats the case with any meta imo.

  10. If in consecutive fights you think multiple times "is this the same fight?", and it's not: It's a hinge that the meta is TRASH😂

  11. As a novice battler I like Hisui Cup because less viable pokemon against me means I have less to remember and less mistakes to make. It's giving me time to learn how to react to those specific pokes
