Shadow Kadabra and Brionne are a high risk high reward anti-fighter core. Brionne is one of like 2 or 3 pokemon in this meta that can learn charm, and kadabra just hits like a truck with no brakes. Brionne safe swap all day
I think the speedrun strat for this cup is to run triple dragon and top left when you see a togetic to save time

Hey Dan. I’m at 2300 elo at the moment and Cressalia lead, Tapu fini and Trevenant has been absolutely destroying teams for me, never had this good performance in ultra league. it does have problems with drapion, muk, ampharos and a few others, but I try to let cress absorb as much damage, grab shields and then play from there. maybe you could make a video trying it out, it’s tearing through the poliwrath giratina meta and it might surprise you.

I wouldn’t recommend using charjabug rn. There’s a bug that just makes it terrible. If you sneak a move it does no damage and you get no energy I think. Which makes Charjabug terrible
I will be running my dusclops with return for more play against vigoroth and then covering for other ghosts
I was thinking of Dusclops lead, Vigoroth safe swap, and Golbat to close, all with recommended moves. However, if i gamble and assume I'll face Vigoroth leads, I was going to use Feint Attack for Dusclops, which will make it soft win against Vigoroth instead of soft lose. But if I do this, Dusclops drops from 20-1-7 to 9-0-19 against Evo Cup metas…

Can we say "Return?" planned to build a dusclops for halloween/evolution. choice of normal rank #109 and purified rank #211. End of day, normal was not worth the investment for me so i was like, lets see what Return does as a cheaper, general nuke? you beat vig in the evens! you now lose a few matchups which were bait & poltergeist dependent but since vig is everyteam it might be worth it. shadow punch looks fun but you can't really really afford to lose ice coverage in this meta unless you run two other ices, maybe. last season i was running lairon a bit last year (combatting everything not vig- ie dragons and golbat) though now marsh may be very prevalent & stinks that the iron tail buff doesn't help it.

What’s working for me, went 19-1 with Togetic, Golbat, Vigroth.
Togetic is crazy good and it's gonna be main meta. It beats almost everything, and it has a rock move for everything it is weak against – charjabug, golbat and ice.

Not even a little interested in this cup, but I’ll gladly listen in while working to get the vid some watchtime. I started tanking heaps of 1-4 and 0-5 set in ML just to not play this nightmare cup. Hopefully this cup never returns again, and hopefully the classic Niantic fumbles don’t affect the views too much.
