This week is master league and evolution cup. Evolution Cup is a 1500CP Great League that only allows second stage evolutions. So a vigoroth cup.
I hit legend in GBL for the 16th straight season. This is the team I used before my final one: Dragonair, vigoroth and golbat

I feel the same about PoGo and GBL, the fun is not there anymore. I’ve reached legend yesterday and stopped playing immediately after that. I’ll take the next weeks off GBL for sure.
quite honestly, i always hate these super limited metas especially when there's master league alongside them. makes me want to grind for a master league team so i dont have to play in these shit metas

The game is in a very bad place right now. Everything is ticketed, including a ton of stuff that used to be free. Remote raids are basically dead content (at least among my local community) after the huge price increase. PVP metas are pretty stale and constantly full of glitches. I think you mentioned it recently but the only good things I can think of as of late is that there have been lots of opportunities to grind dust. However, I haven't taken advantage of many of them because I rarely find myself playing lately :

Think I’ve taken the last 2-3 weeks off just not wanting to invest dust/not having enough candy to build up ones I want to use but I’m doing Evolution Cup. Still watched/listened to your videos everyday just to hear you talk about stuff though🙂😂
Tbh i agree, this game is dying quicker and quicker each month. And the fact Niantic is making more and more P2W options is proof enough that if they dont start turning their profits around they're done for.
Thanks for the video! I'm actually gone with the most frequent players having more XL candies and dominating the master league. But the evolution cup is definitely a terrible meta indeed. And Annihilape is just the most hateable pokemon ever 😊
Take a break you have earned it; recharge your batteries. Figure out what u enjoy abiut the ganme and focus on that. If u dont enjoy the game anymore then maybe you should quit for awhile. I dont even bother trying to hit legend anymore after I reached legend 3 seasons in a row; its not worth the effort. I just battle in the leagues I enjoy which is only UL right now.
Haven't battled for about 2 weeks now until yesterday to get the Elite Charge TM…
For me, it's annoying facing the same pokemons over and over again tbh so yea, definitely not fun…
when you can't beat the dragon, join em. your POGO addiction is almost near the end.
I bet the algorithm has a lot to do with it as well. You get a feeling of never getting better or progressing. I made an account that I grinded top pvp mons for about 6 months, and I mean grind hard. No pvp. Tried pvp yesterday and was facing the same exact teams as I would in ace, after winning a bunch first of course. The game walked me with algorithm and it was obvious. Really kills my motivation to play.
Niantic lost me when they decided to nerd remote raiding.

I had a long discussion with a few friends yesterday about pogo. All of us are burnt out on the game and the game as a whole is falling apart at the seems.. for a lot of us pogo has been a long grind and we've dedicated some much time to the game, that we're just going through the motions hoping the next best thing in the game is just around the corner.
