I’ve encountered and had them flee over and over again like everyone else. My first master ball was used on my first Zapdos. A few months later I caught Moltres with a golden razz and great throw with an ultra ball. Fast-forward another 5 or 6 months and I encounter another little Zapdos. I *was* tempted to use my master to have 2 Galarian Zapdos because I haven’t seen any birds in a while, but I was saving it for Articuno to complete the collection. So I threw my golden razz and ultra ball instead. I landed a great trow on my first try and…..caught!! The chance maybe be less than 1% but don’t give up, it CAN happen.
Tl;dr: Don’t lose hope on getting galarian birds, I’ve caught 2 without a masterball.
