Could have been a blip? Shows for me on US and Canada sites Edit: refresh removed it from US for me, but still shows on Canada. Weird

Publisher switched from Nintendo to SquareEnix thats why. It’ll probably be back soon.

Maybe Square Enix is getting publishing back from Nintendo for the Switch version. That’d be fantastic, so it’d finally go on sale for a halfway reasonable price once in a while. Same with Dragon Quest 11 S, I wish Square would take that back from Nintendo. It’s ridiculous that the PS4/Xbox ports of 11S not uncommonly go on sale for like $25 but the Switch version has only gone on sale like a half dozen times and has never gone below $35.

It’s a fantastic game and part 2 is great too

IbukiLazuli below threatened me irl in my DMs 🙁 All because I don’t like Octopath travelers? This guy is mental.

  6. This is why I buy physical copies of games.

Not really on topic, but while Octopath Traveler 1 was very much a flawed game and probably not one I’d recommend to most gamers these days (even though I enjoyed it), Octopath Traveler 2 is excellent and one of the best games on the Switch.

Just tossing that out there for the folks who might be skipping OP2 owing to OP1.

I’m thinking Nintendo is going to release a “Nintendo Selects” or “Greatest Hits” versions for a discounted price. Octopath 1 would definitely be part of that!

Well, this is what I get for procrastinating playing it for 6 years
