A demo for a first party game?
JustCallMeTsukasa-96
Well that’s one heckuva surprise drop there!😲

Makes sense. It’s a new style of game so they want to introduce it to people before they buy
mrHartnabrig
That was fast! Pyoro called it.

This is great. Very helpful if you buy digital since the eShop doesn’t offer refunds. More games need to put out demos on Switch before release.

This makes sense. I’ve seen a few trailers for this and I have no idea what kind of game it is

I’m sure this game will be a banger for the target audience, but this is clearly not for me. The game looks to be very easy to the point it gets boring really fast. Looks good tho

Nice! I know what I’m playing tonight.
New-League-8985
Hopefully it’s better than the Mario vs donkey Kong demo
witenite2003
Noob question. Is the demo a time trial?

Definitely going to check this out later tonight! Been eagerly awaiting this one.

After playing through the demo, it’s surprisingly extremely charming.
From the seems of it, it’s basically a mini game collectathon.
Lastly I personally think it’s gonna be a hit for younger audiences, and I think it’s important to note that this game will not be for everyone.
Other than that, it’s always nice seeing Nintendo be experimental and letting smaller teams/studio have a chance in the spotlight (also do we know whose developing the game?)

Does this have Co-op? Seems like no but haven’t been able to find much info.

Datamine of demo shows that Good-Feel are the ones who developed the game.

The demo did me a favor and I canceled my preorder. Don’t get me wrong, this game has a ton of charm for the younger target audience but it really lacks substance. Hitting B a lot doesn’t satisfy me to the point to justify $60.
Did anyone else notice the game is super laggy? The animation with the curtains, load screens and when Peach transforms looked choppy to me.
If only I had a Time Machine to enjoy this game- 6-10 year old me would be HYPE.

Gonna do a wait and see approach on this one. The demo was fine but it felt kinda basic and the FPS was pretty bad at points. I’ll keep an eye on reviews to see if this game has more substance outside of the demo.
Edit: oof getting downvotes for having an opinion

Holy shit a demo? Nintendo finally living in 1999 👏👏👏

Just finished the demo and I had a really good time with it. I was already looking forward to the game but now I’m really sold on it. Gameplay and controls are simple but it’s still fun and engaging. Sometimes it’s nice to have a simpler, easier gaming experience. And these were only tutorial levels so I imagine it only gets better from there.

the games not for me but i used the best buy get 2 get 1 free so i must pick it up

Love the animations, the gameplay and the costumes but…
I think the only thing I’m not a big fan of is the difficulty, I was receiving hearts for basically every action I did on the game. That guy offering you more hearts to make the game easier gave me a bit of hope though, also at the end of the levels there’s this symbol with a number on the side so that means each costume will get multiple levels and I really hope the difficulty goes higher each level. Obviously I’m not talking about a Dark Souls type of difficulty lmao but at least a Kirby one, not too difficult but there’s always some challenge and more complex stuff for the people that love going for that 100% completion (me lol)
So yeah, love the concept, had tons of fun decorating those cakes! but… I really hope it isn’t this simple when it comes to the full game.

Does anyone know if the save data from this demo transfers to the full game?
