  1. N is 20?? Oh, dear. I mean, Hilda is 14, which is older than I thought, but I don't think I want him riding that Ferris wheel with her anymore…

  2. This whole time I thought N was canonically 7. I don't know where I got this information or how but I've thought this since I was like 10. This video and finding out he's 20 was a shock to the system

  3. Legends Arceus needed a little adjustment in the protagonists designs. They do not look 15 to me. They look 12, at most.

  4. Cyrus is defined by his nihilism, and that sort of attitude makes you seem older that coupled with his hair, color and shallow face, make him look much older than he actually is

  5. I love how the anime perpetuated the whole 'all trainer start at 10' thing. That's not even remotely true. Plenty of trainers are clearly younger than the protagonists in every single game. Youngsters seal the deal for me, they've always seemed younger than 10 to me, especially when you consider games where the player character is 10-11 years old, and youngsters are clearly younger than them.

  6. Wait how is poppy from the elite four 9 and is a trainer but you can only be a Pokemon trainer at the age of ten that doesn’t make sense to me

  7. Gen V protagonists being nearly high schooler age around time I was a high schooler made them much for relatable

  8. 10 years old to start a journey in a land with creatures capable of murder is kinda weird. 13-14+ would be understandable and a bit better

  9. Little strange to use real world statistics in unreal worlds but if they look 15 years old they could probably be way younger
