Beyond the Hype. I created this series as there is a lot of click bait and false impressions of pokemon and I want to give you a real in depth analysis of whether a pokemon is worth spending dust and candies on.

I think it has a lot to do with season tbh Dan. It doesn't seem as fun, and I've had my worst win rate run since I first started playing 2 years ago.
Yeah, it's Spring. Lots of RL things to tend to and a slow meta and Niandick doing Niandick things (Zarude) and not doing what they should be doing to improve the game. Just a good time to take off. Personally I played alot of GBL last season and am just taking this one slow. I'm 49 wins off from platinum master league medal so I'll hit that hard when we change over even though I remain salty about how O. Dialga/Palkia worked out with the special moves.

Honestly I’ve been playing ultra league whenever I see these limited cups. I find that I don’t adapt as quickly so it’s a lot of losses before I pick things up. Also I’m completely drained on stardust lol
I wonder how much of videos performance is based on featured Pokémon availability. Everyone should have a talonflame given it had a com day and meta in a lot of cups. Tentacruel, on the other hand, is hard to find and kind of niche.
Weezing works but you need the ivs and brutual swing and overheat. Mine is just outside of being usable but i still use weezing. I combo mine. With carbink as the core
Why not run X Scissor and Aerial Ace on Golisopod? Liquidation is resisted by like 90% of the meta
Love Golisopod & use him often in UL. Don't have a GL build yet. Spring Cup has not been as fun as Electric so I've moved onto UL & Golisopod is actually on my current team.

I’ve been running golisopod as a safe swap and it’s a beast. Aerial ace is a must, but X-scissor is better for lanturn and lets you flip dewgong in the 0-0 shields and even the 0-1 if you switch fast enough to get an x-scissor before an icy wind debuff
Amoongus-Sludge Bomb is slept on. Fucks every Grass and Fairy pokemon on the planet

Tbh, me personally I didn't click that much bc I'm playing Ultra League the whole time. I kind of even made the decision after you saying in one of your videos something like "uh 2 weeks spring cup, I'll prolly cover the first week mainly UL and the second week the spring cup". And i thought "oh that's a good idea, makes sense". Then I was a little surprised you covered more of the Cup and since this week is pretty bizzy for me anyways I then didn't watch some of them.🙈
I was on a GBL hiatus for a few years, I started watching POGO PVP content with like, Kieng, Zyonik, Purple Kyogre, pre-GBL when the silph leagues were the only PVP experience. I think you started uploading about when I took a hiatus, but sad I been missing your content till I got back into it this season. Really enjoy your analysis, your commentary, and your approach to the game so even if you MIGHT be on the tail end of your GBL YT career, glad to be a new passenger even if it's just for a few more stops.
