TL:DR – Pika Pika! *Get in my ball.*
I know people complain about all the Pikachu and all their many hats. But I love them.
I caught my first Pikachu, in game, on 23rd July 2016 as my starter. She’s level 5 still and I’ll keep her forever.
I’ve been hunting them since. I know I must not be alone.
I currently have 199 Pikachu/Pichu/Raichu in storage. I have labelled and named most of them. I try and catch at least a male and a female of every hat and sometimes one for luck or to trade. If the hat repeats, I’ll do the above for each year.
I used to be overrun with Pichu because I felt guilty sending them cuties to the Professor – I had to snap out of that and am now much more judicious in my selections, instead of just keeping all the babies.
For non-hats, I have a nice array of Pika caught on trips or from eggs from cool locations, from fun raids or with great battle league stats. They almost all have a story or memory attached to them.
Funnily enough of the 3000-odd I’ve caught, I only have one hundo, 1 lucky & 11 shiny.
My 0% emo hat boy is one of my favourites tho.
Are there any other weirdos out there like me? If so, anyone want to do a trade sesh to fill in any missing Pikas? I want them alllllll!!!
Or do you collect a different Mon? And why? How do you store them? Label them?
