I played this game at PAX and just don’t get it.

I’m interested with dunky backing it to see how this first venture goes. It looks a bit niche, like a metroitvania without combat. Visuals are great though

This is the first of the game that I’ve seen where I feel like I actually know what kind of game it is. It seems like it’s a metroidvania that exchanges combat for a heavier emphasis on platforming and puzzles, which to be fair, combat isn’t exactly the focus of a lot of metroidvanias anyways (with some notable exceptions) so I don’t know if it’s as niche as that idea may initially seem
I really like the art style though. Up until now I thought it looked pretty but the gameplay didn’t jump out at me, but I tend to have pretty similar taste in games to Dunkey and he’s put about as confident of a stamp of approval as he can on a game (being the first title he’s published) so I was cautiously optimistic that there was more to it that hadn’t been shown
Now that we’re seeing more, this seems pretty neat and is something I’m actually looking forward to playing now

This looks pretty neat, but I don’t like how difficult it can be to tell where your character is. It’s a bit too small, and the transparency doesn’t help

Feel like the trailers have all shown the same bits of gameplay. I can’t tell if this is something I’d love or something that wouldn’t hold my attention. Metroidvania games are hit or miss for me

Always wary of products backed by big YouTubers, the art looks cool and sound design is great but I’m still not really getting the gameplay from the trailers definitely going to need to see some reviews.
