    In any case, it was never going to be significant.

    Even after changing all occurrences of “yuzu” to “suyu,” it took them more than two weeks to get it to even build.

    As far as I can tell, this is also the fork that attempted to modify the project’s license but then changed it after being properly criticized for it.

  2. Every time someone made a hydra analogy or whatever about taking down Yuzu this is exactly what I thought of. This is what Nintendo wanted. A bunch of forks and reuploads of varying veracity and competency fracturing the support base and users trust.

    The Streisand effect cuts two ways. Anyone aware of Switch emulation is also now aware of this clown show.

    I don’t think these public code hosting sites will want to have anything to do with Yuzu forks. Development will have to go private.
