I just bought a new phone and it does have the gyroscope but for some reason I couldn't interact with my buddy. It say my phone doesn't support it 🤷

Niantic literally takes away anything that provides options. They could make everyone happy if they weren’t always trying to strong-arm us into playing one way and one way only. But then they put features in the game that make you have to grind. So, like routes and legendary XLs, they want you to take days, weeks, months and even YEARS to do something.

Can you not shiny check without AR?
Go into settings and turn off camera I got a light green-white background when feeding my buddy.
Found out it also works if you take away the permissions to store photos.
Why’d they do it? Because niantic hates the players. You will never convince me otherwise.
Damn. I NEVER used to use the fast catch/check method but I recently started and was really enjoying it especially during comm day or events. Ughhhh.

What’s the difference between just catching Evees in the wild? Are the IV even good for PVP.

Whenever I open the buddy menu for teh play with your buddy heart it just auto turns of buddy AR
theres still ways to fast catch but they killed one way

I always wondered how people caught over 1k pokemon on like community day
The crap ivs on mewtwo made me not even want to play after.
I wish they'd let us disable all of the catching delays for non-legendary/non-mythicals, like the zooming animation, the Pokeball shakes, the post-catch animations.
So Niantic want people to go out and play the game but they don't want people to go out and play the game 🤦♂️

The new lightgreen Buddy background is horrible. Way too bright, I turn down the brightness everytime and back out on the regular screen it's to dark so I keep turning the brightness up and down. The AR+ where you have to hunt around for your buddy is absolutely horrible! Just give me the option to coose a darker background for my buddies. Please! 🤯

Don't forget to mark one up since they now don't have the AR on the Buddy Screen. Hated that… especially since I never wanted the real life background. Always had to cover my back camera or put it flush against something. Granted, seems like a small W… (I never understood the AR Grind thing…), but any W is worth celebrating…🎉🎉🎉
I got super burned out on just constant never ending event after event. When everything is special, nothing is special. Its just one event after another asking for money for a special ticket.
I hardly ever fast catch but I do use it for shiny checks. 😢
I don't think they removing AR because of fast catch, I think they are removing it because they are an AR company and they want to force players to use AR when the majority of them don't. It's on par with what they have done in the past. They create a feature and force players to use it with no options. It's the same as the way they remove features too. Like Remote Raids. They want you to play their game like they intended you to do it, no fun allowed.
Ow well at end of the day it's a game if they want to change stuff they can in few months no one will care
I just use the “pull the tray, throw , back out “ method. So I get the frustration of the change but sounds a bit nitpicking over a few seconds. Eventually theyll fix all the tricks and it’ll be only Regular catchin 😵💫 bet money 💰

The fact that you can't see shinies in the wild is the dumbest thing. Niantic literally wants you to waste your time clicking for no reason.
i remember AR+ being in the game before, it was a cool feat for maybe 10 minutes. but hunting and tapping the grass for every encounter is a major drag. flawless move from Niantic to bring it back 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

How about not even talk about spoofing. ..Only ppl mad about spofing are the ones scared to even try. Not all ppl that spoof are completely cheating.. if your only changing location then what's wrong with that. . ?
