Fun fact: Shedinja’s hp stat being capped at 1 makes its base hp stat effectively -117. This makes its effective bst 118, the lowest in the series, beating out Sunkern at 180 and Wishiwashi baby form at 175.

Is it just me that doesn't really think of Shedninja as an evolution, mainly due to the fact that it just a discarded shell possessed and not Ninjask itself. Although it makes you wonder what other Pokemon could undergo this treatment

shedinja ain't exactly an evolution, lore wise nor in how you acquire it.
lore wise, its just the remains of the old cocoon it used, gameplay wise, you get it by having an empty slot while it evolves.
