Again, since the Fire type special champion stadium event is happening now, I thought it’d be a good time to 6* EXR SS Red, one of the OG free to play units that’s a solid fire Striker.
Red & Charizard, is a Mega-Evolution Sync Pair with a Twist, a passive that allows them to Mega-Evolve easier as the passive can reduce the Sync-Counter. Charizard has the ability to get all various kinds of self-buffs while also having an amazing offensive kit.
Strengths
High Base Stats
Mega-Charizard managed to get 456 Special attack & Attack, which makes them the highest Sp.Atk currently in the game. (2nd highest attack) so the offensive capabilities of Red & Charizard isn’t lacking at all. They are eager to get started and do some serious dps.
Amazing passives
Charizard’s Moves never miss, while also having a chance of restoring gauge on succesfull attacks. Usually one would think that this must be it, but actually there are additional passives. Charizard has a chance of reducing Sync Move Counter on succesfull attacks. Which is an entirely new mechanic to the game. Upon using Sync Move, Charizard will also raise it’s Critical Chance, so even the Sync Move has a hidden passive.
“My Destiny!”
Destiny feels better than unbeatable. But this support move by Red will Drastically raises the user’s Sp. Atk and Speed. Lowers the user’s Defense and Sp. Def. If Charizard has Mega Evolved, drastically raises the user’s Attack. Making it one of the best self-buffs in the game
Weaknesses
Everything costs too much
The only weakness is that everything costs too much, as in high gauge. Passive is there to help recover used gauge, but if someone is unlucky, and fail to gain gauge from passive, they will be sitting ducks a lot awaiting gauge.
His kit: Heat wave Has a 10% chance of leaving the target burned and hits all opponents. Dire hit + Raises the user’s critical-hit rate by 2. His trainer move my destiny Raises the user’s Sp. Atk and Speed by 3 stat ranks. Lowers the user’s Defense and Sp. Def by If the user’s Charizard has Mega Evolved, also raises the user’s Attack by 3. His sync move living legend blast burn has him Become Mega Charizard X until the end of battle. Raises the user’s critical-hit rate by 1. Flare blitz Removes the frozen condition from the user. The user also takes 25% of the damage it dealt to the target. Has a 10% chance of leaving the target burned. Blast burn is a special attack move that deals heavy damage.
His passives: Propulsion 1 Has a 20% chance of reducing the user’s sync move countdown by one when the user’s move is successful. Piercing gaze means Moves never miss. Move gauge refresh 4 Has a 50% chance of charging the user’s move gauge by one when a move is successful.
Sygna Suit Red, simply put, has everything you would want on a striker. Extremely high DPS, one of the best AoE Sync Nukes in the entire game (if not the best), very good gauge, and good self buffs – and even its high HP means it can take hits better than most strikers provided you can deal with his self defense debuffs.
