8:01 first shiny for me with the background was a shiny shadow cancea and it was my first one of the Shadow shiny
During spotlight hour I saw no shinies, but I was in the house and in the last few minutes I got 1 incense spawn and two regular ones that appeared, just enough to get the candy for an evolution! Gotten 2 shinies since the update, bulbasaur yesterday and ponyta a few hours ago

I like the update but they need to add a way for players to turn the background off for the players like me with not the best phones.
