Based on Egypt. Baskit is based on Bastet, Cleocatra is Cleopatra and Phararock is based on a Pharaoh and the Sphinx. Has no connection to my setting but there's always one or two mons who don't seem to fit thematically.
Lillincubo: Psychic
Allurimp: Psychic
Based on Succubi/Incubi. Specifically the type that feeds on dreams.
Xogore: Dark/Normal
Xolichor: Dark/Normal
Based on the Xolo dog, alebrijes (I think that's what they were called) and the chupacabra (chupacabra originated in Puerto Rico so it fits the setting but the Xolo is a funky looking dog from Mexico, the more popular place to associate the chupacabra with).
