With the new money I’ve earned, I spent a good chunk of it on bottles of cheap hooch. It’s not even good alcohol! Certainly not as good as the champagne! But champagne couldn’t hope to dull my senses the way I need it to now. Champagne can’t make this stop.
Because during the day, my instincts are kicking in, and begging me to stop making CROSSILS, and they won’t shut up about it either!
And at night, like right now? I’m just…in my skivvies, shuddering in my blankets and hugging my pillow like it’ll keep me safe, dreading the day and dreading the night in equal measures.
