Are all these "What If Ash was a [INSERT HERE] Instead of a Trainer?" videos(and YTshorts) setting up a Ketchum-verse?
Where Ash stumbles upon a Multiverse of himself from many different universes where his path could've taken into many different directions.(Like a Spider-Verse Scenario?)
Ash shouting "You want a MalCompliance Verdict?" at Team Rocket would be fun to hear.
You know, i could imagine a story of cop ash turning into one of those cop dramas. Him recognizing the corruption of the jennys of canon. I mean have you seen how horrible some of these jennys are at their job? From blaming others for crimes like the vaccum incident in cerelian city, to taking dropped change from the TRio without even recognizing they are team rocket in the episode with the spirit of maidens peak, heck to even not being able to control her own growlithes in training all because they heard her voice coming from jessie who doesnt even look like jenny at all. Also there are many times where they, police officers who are more experienced, Rely on 3 random kids to solve all their problems. So corruption in the ranks would make sense… but who would be the ring leader of it all.. Giovanni. Now that would be for some juicy drama. Especially if you decide to give ash a partner in a jenny. It would really give some personal stakes.
But yea i really like what you did with this one. The tazer joltik is hilarious really. Also works as a stelthy spy for more covert missions. Id also love if his noctowl ended up being his shiny one from johto because that would just be cool and with how smart that bird is it could work. Keep up the amazing work cause these shorts are great.
I kind of would like to see this go into a full story: imagine an Ash having an obsession with taking down criminals and if he ran into team rocket he’d be the one hunting them instead. It would be pretty funny seeing him actually having to hold back a blast off to try and arrest Jesse and James and try to reform Mewoth somehow. Which could lead to him being a mole on the inside, with him slowly growing to like Ash somewhat. Leading to a questions on both Meowth loyalty and morality.
