I’m playing Pokemon Masters, a mobile gacha game set on the island of Pasio. Collect many Pokemon waifus and husbandos and participate in unique battles involving sync pairs.
When we got the datemine, I was actually super hype for Neo Champion (NC) Cheren and Bianca. I was just thinking about how they both don’t have an alternate outfit, so it is nice we are getting them now. The developers keep giving these NC characters capes and dangly things, which is getting old but nevertheless looks good.
I was leaning towards NC Cheren already but when I say his kit, I knew I had to roll for him. Tornadus is flying type, and so I knew NC Cheren will help my account. While I have Anniversary Steven, he sucks and is the worst Master Fair unit. Sygna Suit Ethan is cool, but I just don’t like his playstayle of alternating buffs and attacks. NC Cheren works incredibly well with Neo Champion Rosa, and can just focus on attack right away without needing to set up. I will admit that Fly on Tornadus is useless, so his kit isn’t the best. I’m happy to finally get a strong flying type unit, and with Maxie from last week, my account got significantly stronger.
A great thing about NC Cheren is that his sync grid isn’t that great. He gets more sync move damage and can fully raise his own special attack at 3/5, but at one copy, he is still very strong. However, NC Bianca is a little less good because I think she is necessary at 3/5. She is a fighting type unit, which I don’t really need but it does mean that she is also great with NC Rosa. NC Bianca focuses on using Unova Circle, which means you’d want to extend it at 3/5. Bianca also gets more normal attack damage, can flinch, and can fully raise her attack at 3/5, so I think you need to heavy invest in her to get the best out of her. I think I’ll wait a bit to see what June’s datamine has in store, but I might roll for NC Bianca just because I like her.
