Wonder if Capcom is gearing up for a new Megaman game?

  2. TL;DW = Mega Man: Dr. Wily’s Revenge, Mega Man II, Mega Man III, Mega Man IV, Mega Man V

While I-IV are remixed versions of their NES counterparts, Mega Man V is a completely original game with its own story, Robot Masters and Power Ups. Highly recommended, one of the best Game Boy games.

Good to see that Third Parties are willing to throw a bone with games they don’t plan to re-release themselves. Maybe that means we could get the Sonic Advance Trilogy and Sonic Battle for GBA in the future.

If anyone is disappointed that the NES Mega Man games aren’t included, that’s because Capcom is selling them in a collection on all platforms.

Interesting they didn’t just check this in the direct. Perhaps we will get announcements for other systems then?

So are these games the exact same as the nes counterparts?

Still picking my jaw up off the floor from this one. I hace been wating patiently for years for Capcom to release a Game Boy Legacy pack, which I would have gladly paid for. Not gonna argue with this one bit.

Has it just been a while since I actually tried to beat MegaMan or are these GameBoy bosses supposed to look a LOT easier than their original counterparts?

  9. Shujinco2

These are entirely unexpected. If we’re going this route I would love to see Sweet Home hit the service sometime.

Crazy how fast they cranked the originals out.

    This is wonderful!

I was always hoping for a collection of the handheld megamans to appear. This is close!

This is unexpected but still a nice addition (unless if it’s Mega Man II, whose “soundtrack” is ear-grating with the exception of like 1 or 2 songs). Mega Man IV and V are really solid titles alone.

Also a bit surprised they didn’t throw these in a “Legacy Collection” a long time ago or something.

Now if only they can not be so mediocre on the rest of their NSO offerings

Love it!! Although I probably won’t touch it for a while, I already replayed all 5 of them in April after getting my Analogue Pocket and wanting to replay some of my older retro games. I still remembered MM1-3 well, but it blew my mind just how good 4 and especially 5 were. This is great!

  15. Bog-Star

This is certainly a step up in quality from last month.

  16. lettucemf

This is great but idk why Nintendo is so hesitant about putting old pokemon games on there

Does this mean that Mega Man: Battle Net will be coming to the Switch eventually? I think it was the first time that I ever played a Mega Man game and enjoyed it. I played the one on SNES, but never played much in the way of Playstation, and only played MMBN because of an emulator

  18. ConflictBorn

Are they only adding games to gameboy?

  19. masterpd85

Yessssssss. The other MM legacy collection. These are some of the hardest games on gameboy. MM2 sounds like ass because it wasn’t made by Infune’s team and was outsourced. It’s also the worst one of the bunch. I recommend these if anyone wants a platformer challenge.

Mega Man and Capgod fans are eating good today.

  21. NES_Classical_Music

Is this every GB Mega Man??? All dropped at once??? That’s awesome!
