I remember when this used to be the most exciting event of the year behind the tours and go fest, the past few have been extremely disappointing, nothing to get excited about enough to go grind
would have been cool if popplio comm day was already out so we could have the possibility of that as a shiny too
I'm tempted to transfer the shiny celebi to pokemon violet it it's possible. I don't plan to use it in go anyway.
Shiny celebi was free in February 2021. I'm super cheap, so I don't every pay for special research, and that's when I caught mine. I think it was in a paid research, or maybe at a Go Fest, a year before that.

Worth noting that (as of now), party hat bulbasaur, party hat eevee, and cake hat pikachu don't evolve (yet), so you'll only need one of each of those. But party hat charmander and party hat squirtle do evolve, so you'll want 3 of each if you want the sets. Also it looks like the new party hat grimer will evolve to a new party hat muk.
Still no party hat ivysaur or venusaur

Next event scorching steps is a terrible egg event, then we get to look forward to recycled content anniversary event, come on Niantic give us SOMETHING GOOD for a change. I haven't spent a dime in a year just no point

Im getting the shiny celebi other then that I could careless about the event in a whole don't care for raids don't care about lucky friends. Don't really care for event pokemon so just gonna pop on here and there until go fest comes cause RN the events seem ass
