    I just want to appreciate the fact this post links to a tweet:

    * https://x.com/mynintendonews/status/1804201151035850924

    Which links to an article:

    * https://mynintendonews.com/2024/06/21/pyoro-admits-primary-source-is-nintendo-of-japan-employee-who-seemingly-had-access-to-nintendos-web-backend/

    Which rehashes another tweet:

    * https://x.com/stealth40k/status/1804195295435076058

    Which is an excerpt from another article:

    * https://www.bloomberg.com/news/newsletters/2024-06-21/rumors-go-dark-as-video-game-leakers-face-a-reckoning

    To which i think, this chain of references is almost a great reflection of the way that leaks and rumors operate in general.

    Another unflattering end to the campaign of a clout chaser.

    What a shame, though I think we all knew it wouldn’t last forever. Pour one out for Pyoro and their almost year long, near perfect record.

    god i prefer bieng suprised by directs. leakers spoil the fun

  5. Skullghost

    Pyoro did private their account on Twitter

  6. GregoryGrungus

    But when will he admit that his primary source of food is poop?

    Seems like Nintendo finally cracked down. And good, I want the Switch 2 reveal and everything that will come with it to be a complete surprise.

    These leaker have a habit of sabotaging themselves

  9. lostpretzels

    Pyoro was the first leaker in ages that actually kept things fun & interesting. He never spoiled anything major without keeping people guessing. A lesser person would have just outright stated things like the TTYD remake instead of vaguely hinting that something big was coming.

    Oh no!

    Anyways, I hope in the future we can actually be surprised by most of the games in directs like we were this last one. That felt so good, seeing that new Mario & Luigi trailer, everyone learning about at the same time. So good.

    leakers suck just like scalpers. Good riddance. The magic is lost when leaks come out ahead of major announcements. It’s nearly impossible to avoid leaks if you like to discuss Nintendo on the internet so that’s not really a valid option

  12. Torracattos

    Why can’t a truly awful leaker like Riddler Khu actually lose their source over a great one like Pyoro? People have speculated that he has, but nothing’s confirmed.

  13. I’m all for whatever bugs Nintendo. I personally didn’t care about Leaks, because unless there’s actually an official announcement anything can be scrapped. Even then, Metroid prime 4 was announced like six years ago. So riding the hope train is stupid.

    What is the best controller to play NES games on Nintendo Switch?
