as someone who spends money in thsi game, getting a rocker for hatching/candies has been the best investment so far and the cheapest XD
I do have people to play with to do raid nights on Wednesday or elite raids but the rayquaza was the 1st time i could do more elite raids i just dont like the idea of being further apart and starting at different times where an normal raid day every gym hasthe featured boss at it but i have certain people in the group where there just gotten lazy and cant be bothered coming out one of the reasons one of the group wanted to remote the rayquaza raids and me and one of the people i was out with had to explain that the rayquaza was elite raids andcwas in person only
Niantic is basically referring to the “Let’s Go Gambling” meme at this point, and we’re the victims.
They technically do still have ads with all the sponsored pokestops /gyms and also you have the sponsored item balloons. They do not need to do all these paid tickets with all of the money they make from micro transactions and in person events. They could also run the game better they would make stupid money many whales have dropped off spending like myself. 100% free to play since the avatar changes.
the only way to get companies to change their policies or behaviour toward their product is by voting with your wallets. the point made about the pokemon company behind these choices does make sense, if the facts would show this too. personally ive been playing a lot less main line pokemon since go came out so it is costing them money, so them trying to push you back to the mainline game by making the go game bad could be a strategy, could also blow up and have people drop the franchise entirely.
I'm free to play and all is good, only way i'd pay if you could progress from lvl 48 to 49 without trading, stuck at 48 for over a year now.

Niantic loves money but wants you to play their way with very little compromise. It means little to them how upset and vocal the community gets as long as they long as they fall in line and long term they always do
I don't think too many events are the problem. The problem with the events is that they're poorly executed or don't work as intended. A couple of players barely got a drillbur, combee, or trubbish during the sustainability event, and the Rediscovering Kanto event was 2 weeks of crap (oh boy, more Pidgeys!). The Kanto event offered nothing really new or unique tbh.

Anniversary was awful. Not only remote raids but incubator prices are now ridiculous. Pokémon from 4 years ago still not available if you didn’t buy it.
Honestly, I'm not disappointed anymore… Outside of not wanting content creators to lose some of their income, I can see the writing on the wall of me not playing and this game falling off completely.
If the ticket is not worth it, I don't purchase it. It is very simple. Plenty of free stuff to do. And I know a lot of people that don't purchase anything at all, only use gym coins.
There are adds, though- there are sponsored pokestops, sponsored events (Verizon, for example) and there are sponsored baloons in some countries. I liked colaboration with Circle-K, they added pokestops in places where you can't submit anything else.

After playing everyday since 2016 I’ve just deleted the app I’m not wasting my time any more the game is so predictable I’ve had the same pattern for 19seasons now 1st negative 2nd positive 3rd negative 4th positive 5th negative 😂
So I watched a video by another content creator that warned about the remote raid nerf before it came out. One video by one creator. Whenever I warned people and tried to organize some in person raids, the internet blew up and yelled about how "they can't tell me how to play". Had Niantic actually put something out, let us know that we have like 3 months to substantially increase the in person raids or there will be a remote raid nerf, then maybe we could have seen some change and gotten ahead of it to where they didn't feel the need to nerf anything. Sadly Niantic can't even communicate when they aren't happy about something to give us a chance to do something about it.
Niantic def scrwed up the rayquaza raids. I live by an important park to Niantic. I know this because it has one of the four seven elevens (in the whole of Mexico City) that are actually sponsored by Niantic. So there's a bunch of gyms, right? Well, there was 1, max 2 raids per every 2 to 3 hours. There were hoards of people but no raids around! I saw people leaving at 1:00 pm because the next raid wasn't until 3 pm.
and it was just the one until 5 pm. Like seriously? Most gyms didn't even have raids. I bet people were ready to spend on passes and couldn't.
On the other hand, saying there's no ads is bs. They're just really well built into the game, but sponsors are there. 7/11 is hitting jackpot huge here in Mexico, McD'S also involved. And there's regional sponsors all over. Always said it. Players are not the clients in pogo. They're the product.
I grinded out 20 km walking my dog, I got three Rayquaza. What u talking about Willis 😂
For now I'm taking a break from remote raids. Yvetal and ho-oh ran even though I threw excellent throws. I'll wait for a new Pokemon to come out on raids.

I live In the Bay Area and San Francisco is always dead. Only some spots you lol find people joining raids like the pier but other than that it’s pretty dead and that’s where they’re based too 😂

I don't buy any of those tickets. I find it's pointless to spend more than 2$ Canada for most events. I'm not even bothering with the Go Fest ticket. My community is lacking hard because we all dont care as much about pokemon go as much anymore
yea I don't play as much as I used to, just bare minimum to complete event stuff, but lately its bare minimum, I am a day one player, but am not at level 50 yet.
Ak, I run a consistent team using Whichcash and skarm, mastering how to maneuver the counters it gives me (skarm,licki,anihlape,etc.)
I switch my team to a lanturn lead then I see nothing but registeel, sandslash, and dragons :,).
