Is it normal to see legendaries quite often just not be able to catch them or would this be considered lucky?

I’ve not seen a legendary bird in months. Last one fled around 3-4 months ago. It’s crazy how many trash Pokémon with low IV and cp keep appearing.

I’ll just assume you don‘t know about galarian birds: these are regional variants of as you said the legendary birds from gen 1, what‘s special about them is that they only spawn from the adventure incense, base catch rate is 0.3% (can be raised via flying medal, golden razz, excellent throws), flee rate is 90% I think the spawn rate is about 1/150 spawns from incense, it‘s increased with the windy/extreme weather (correct me if I‘m wrong) 🙂
