I’m not sure for each of my systems but I do have Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance for GameCube and every time a Smash Brothers comes out with Ike the price goes up a little more

  2. PM_ME_YOUR__INIT__

There’s a high chance that the most expensive game in anyone’s Nintendo collection will be a Pokemon game

  3. GoldNRice

My most expensive one on the DS Lite is Pokemon Black 2

  4. No_Dig903

    NES – Bucky O’Hare

SNES – R-Type III The Third Lightning

Game Boy – Sword of Hope II

Game Boy Color – Survival Kids

Game Boy Advance – Tactics Ogre, The Knight of Lodis (with box)

Nintendo DS – Left it at the grad school apartment. Skipped the entire DS generation after that.

Wii – Only had a few games. Not bothering.

    Wii U – Didn’t own one.

Switch – Tears of the Kingdom (Finally had money, ignored the obscure stuff and caught up on mainstream)

    N64 – Ogre Battle 64

Gamecube – Wind Waker + Master Quest

I have never known about the combo Wind Waker Ocarina games. I just have those separately. I don’t know which is the most expensive in my collection, but I know Path of Radiance, the Pokémon games, Zelda collection, and separate Ocarina duo are among the highest. Oh, I have the Baten Kaitos games, not sure where they rank…

I was always proud of my purchase of Earthbound back in the day. Funny that i haven’t actually played the cartridge and have been slowing whittling away at a rom save file of it.

  8. Disco_Zombi

Do not know. Do not care. I’m keeping it all. You can have my Nintendo games when I’m dead.

I’ve never actually price checked my retro consoles, all the games I have I just got while I was growing up. This was a little surprising:

NES: Battletoads (CIB) (runner-up: TMNT 3: the manhattan project )

SNES: Super Mario RPG: legend of the seven stars (runner-up: Turtles in time)

N64: Bomberman 64 the second attack (Holy shit that price. How? Why? runner up: Ogre Battle 64)

Gamecube: Chibi robo (runner-up pokemon XD. alternate winner: gameboy player with startup disc)

Wii: Mario Kart Wii (runner-up: super mario galaxy 2. alternate winner: gold wii classic controller pro)

    Wii U: Bayonetta 2 (runner-up: Monster hunter 3 ultimate)

Switch: Zelda: tears of the kingdom (runner-up Mario odyssey. I do not understand switch pricing, but I also only own four physical carts)

Gameboy: Gameboy camera (gold) (runner-up: TMNT 3: radical rescue. talk about a power gap)

Gameboy color: Pokemon Crystal (runner-up: Dragon Warrior 3, though mine would not fetch full price even as a loose cart. I played it on the GBA a lot, if you know you know.)

GBA: Pokemon emerald (runner-up: Boktai, the sun in your hands, which never worked right for me even when I did go outside. alternate winner: Eon Ticket e-reader card)

DS: Dragon Quest V: hand of the heavenly bride (runner-up: pokemon soul silver)

3DS: Kid icarus Uprising (runner-up: Pokemon ultra moon)

  14. nimrodhellfire

Wii Party? Wasn’t that some 20€ game?

  15. NoNoNota1

Neat, I own the third most expensive game (not including variants and pokemon distribution carts) on DS, Dragon Quest V Hand of the Heavenly Bride. I knew my DQ collection was pricy, I just always assumed there were a buttload of even more niche games on the system with ludicrous pricing.

  16. Powerful_Artist

I own a copy of Waterworld for my virtual boy. I think it’s a pretty pricey game but not astronomical

  17. Freezy_Squid

I’m surprised Superstar Saga is your most expensive GBA game. It’s one of the cheaper gba games out there

  18. RaiHanashi

    Mario Kart 64 isn’t expensive

Haven’t actually checked all systems (excluding Virtual Boy & N64 cause I don’t own either), but most expensive is a 3rd party game on the 3DS & it’s the Back to School version of Corpse Party

  19. Aessen_H

I’ll just tell the ones I know are somewhat expensive, for the other systems I own I have no idea.

GBA : Final fantasy I&II dawn of souls
    DS : Chrono trigger
    Wii : Twilight Princess
    Wii U : Wind Waker

  20. reddltlsfvckingdumm

i have them all except contra for the NES

  21. DependentFigure6777

These are the most noteworthy games I have in my collection that I can’t ever in good conscience sell off:

    SNES – Sunset Riders

    N64 – Duck Dodgers

GameCube – My childhood copy of Chibi-Robo <3

Wii U – Twilight Princess HD

  22. WarioWill

    NES: Micro Mages

SNES: Super Mario All Stars + Super Mario World

N64: Ocarina of Time Gold Cart

    GC: Twilight Princess

Wii: Rhythm Heaven Fever (i bought it for $15 in 2016)

    Wii U: Super Mario Maker

Switch: Super Mario 3D All Stars

    GB: Pokémon Red

    GBC: Oracle of Seasons

GBA: WarioWare Twisted (I’ve had this one since 2005 probably, damn it’s good)

    DS: Animal Crossing Wild World

    3DS: Majora’s Mask 3D

  23. KorokGoron

I haven’t checked all my games, but I know Cubivore goes for a lot!

  24. DapperRockerGeek

    Gameboy: Singer Sewing Machine Software

  25. Joshawott27

I’m in a PAL territory so there is some deviation (for example, I own *Pokémon Box* but *Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness* is apparently higher valued on PAL territories). However, I do own some US games, so:

    – Game Boy: Pokémon Yellow
    – Game Boy Color: Pokémon Crystal
    – Game Boy Advance: Pokémon Emerald
    – Nintendo DS: Pokémon SoulSilver
    – Nintendo 3DS: Fire Emblem Fates Special Edition
    – Nintendo 64: Pokémon Stadium 2
    – GameCube: Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness
    – Wii: The Last Story Limited Edition
    – Wii U: The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker HD Limited Edition
    – Switch: Xenoblade Chronicles Definitive Edition [Collector’s Set]

For Switch, I did have The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild Limited Edition, but the statue was damaged, so I won’t count that.

  26. MondoCoffee

That’s a fun way to show off the different hi value games. Nice 🤙🏼

  27. respawnedict

Damn, I snagged an authentic copy of emerald off eBay in 2021 for $80, crazy how much the price has gone up
