Ok i know “mythical evolutions never end up good” but I had to try all right XD.
So, why Victini?
Well it is going to be a fundamental part in the protagonist’s story. I’n the beginning of her journey she’ll have to choose between “Glory or Triumph”, this evolution will be the direct result of that choice and the love for her pokemon.
Well now on to the Pokémon. Inviriam as an evolution does not need to exist, so with that in mind I had complete freedom to do what I like in regards to concept, design and typings.
I choose to drop the psychic type and give it the fairy type, based on the mystic of a never before seen evolution and the noble pure feeling behind it.
The design is based around a bunny suit (used by spies in fiction to blend in casinos and stuff) and a “jet pilot” ( jets are like one of the biggest symbols of strength and victory in the USA).
The speed scenes between Mewtwo Y and the Red Genesect in the movie16, were also something that directly inspired the concept.
So victini’s signature move kind of evolves with its user, becoming a special attack but still depleting Inviriam.
The biggest struggle for me was for it not to be just a “getsbigga”, and to look like an actual evolution.
Tldr: Bunny suit jet Victini evo goes vroooom.
Ps: My fakemons don't take account game balance cuz they are mostly self-serving gimmick Pokémon made to achieve a function in a story im creating:p.
