This is something they have always been able to do, they are just being upfront about it.

  2. Another reason why i never talk about Nintendo games on my channel

Can now? That suggests they couldn’t before and boooy they sure could

If you read the guidelines, Streamers and Youtubers should all continue to create and upload their content normally without any issue.

    This is for cases like:

    > In addition, the Japanese version makes a point of warning users against “posts that violate public order and morals,” which some people think could be Nintendo’s direct response to a recently deleted Splatoon 3 video that encouraged players to seek sexual encounters through the game.

Of course they have to take action against things like these.

  5. Every publisher has the right to do this. This isn’t really news.

Thanks Nintendo for free switch games in last years. And for current emulation status. Already finishing Zelda Windwalker on Steam Deck.

They’ve been trying to destroy the melee community for years. Why can’t they just be like nearly every other company, and embrace the fans of their games?

Edit: lol at the dick riders downvoting.

    all of them always could.

As it should have been since streaming game became a thing. People took too many stuff for granted. IP/Franchise owner should have some control over anything related to their product

Nintendo games deserve to be pirated

People are against this? Do some people really want people to post immoral content and leaks?

Nothing about this is new, surprising, or unique to Nintendo. People really love looking for reasons to get mad at Nintendo.

Ignoring that “now” is a straight up lie(they’ve always been able to), are people just going to forget that this was in response to a dude using Nintendo content to solicit nudes from minors like last time?

This sub is still on thin ice for deliberately removing that part for the usual “lol Nintendo censoring fan” shlop again.

They can ban anyone from playing their games on stream for any reason that is their right as intellectual property owner. This is just the guidelines Nintendo themselves set up to follow.
