If they can get a sequel to run better on the Switch 2, I’d actually pick it up.

  2. Can’t wait for the next game. But they better not make it a live service.

  3. throwraW2

Happy to see. I really liked the first one. Loading signs need to be improved, but all in all I had a great time with it. I’ll definitely be buying the sequel if/when its on switch/switch 2.

  4. Hydroponic_Donut

As long as it stays single player and self contained. I don’t need 34 skin packs, a battle pass, multiplayer, and seasons.

    Be smart about it.

  5. BurntCarcass

I just want to be stopped by someone or something for killing literally EVERYONE i encounter with unforgivable curses. There were no consequences.

  6. Sky_Tube

    I loved the first game

Just focus more on the actual school aspect, this was where it really did shine

More castle hogwarts, less random villages

And more side activities, maybe connected to your houses?

  7. I hope they flesh this one out more because the first one was really hollow and repetitive to me.

  8. EDDiE_SP4GHETTi

Hopefully they make it not as repetitive. The world is absolutely beautiful and I had so much fun playing until about half way through when I realized I just kept doing the same things over and over again. The base is there and I have faith they could improve on it.

“We’re totally working on all the big titles right now!” – Guy looking for the highest bidder to buy out the company.

The good part of this was the castle and we’ve kinda already explored it. I guess they could make a ton more detailed magic villages and stuff, train, etc. honestly the continuity would be off if they made a whole new magical castle to explore but I’d let it slide cause that’s all I really want haha

  11. No_Hurry7691

Hopefully it won’t be so repetitive and have more than 3 enemy types.

  12. Qwesttaker

Please add official modding tools and support. The first game was begging for it.

  13. With how successful the first game is, that shouldn’t surprise anyone.

I feel like the map was too big and too repetetive. If you have such a big map you need unique puzzles and not the 569th Merlin puzzle which is solved as the previous 568 Merlin puzzles.

I would wish for a more school house project where you actually can also lose, for example in the minigames we played on school, you could just re-try until “you are the best” or beat the teacher. Let us have consequences for stuff.

Adding also the forbidden forest was literally my garden, I could go in an out as often as I like,as much as I like, whenever I like etc. feels weird when no real student should be able to go there and especially not without any consequences again. For example Baldurs Gate gave you for certain things a permanent buff or even a debuff when you did smth that harmed yourself. Some NPC should interact with us differently after being exposed to the dark forest or smt

  15. Please let my house choice actually matter. Like different companions or something.

  16. NoUsesForAName

Make the caves and open world dungeons actually worth exploring. I got tired of hearing “this looks dangerous” only to find a small empty room at the end of a cave hallway.

Improve the combat. All enemies were basically the same one and done combat experience. Never felt like i was in danger.

Make me feel like its worth playing past the halfway point of the game. Didn’t finish Legacy because i literally started falling asleep trying to slog through the repetitive point A and B quests with repetitive dialogue options that didn’t amount to anything.

  17. Wurzelrenner

more school sim elements and deeper RPG systems would be nice, it got boring pretty fast for me

  18. mesosalpynx

For effs sake. “Let’s make money.” Yeah. Should be

  19. SuspiciousSkittlez

They should already be well into its development. You make this big franchise, so that you can reuse assets, and make the sequels faster, and for less.

  20. bearysmolpp

I just wanna be a regular student this time. PLEASE I WANNA GO TO SCHOOL

  21. AngelosOne

Let me guess, somehow it will be some kind of live service with micro transactions vs the purely single player experience that the first one was.

  22. avocadoooss

I really really enjoyed the game and was honestly just pleasantly surprised that the game came to switch at all! I hope the sequel would be on switch as well and that they’ll keep the game casual-gamer friendly.

Overall the game was really well done, the port too! The only annoying part is hogsmeade and the crazy loading times to load into any shop.

  23. Much_Balance7683

They can take my money. I’ll play the shit outta any game that lets me pretend I live at hogwarts. But I hope the castle is a larger character than it was in the first. I want more time spent in the castle, and hogsmeade, and fucking diagonal alley!!!

  24. RawrCola

WB is desperate and just going to play it safe but I really wish they’d do a (different wizarding school) Legacy. It’d be cool if each of the sequels were in different schools around the world.

  25. Ok-Assistance-6848

Well since *A Minecraft Movie* is looking like the next borderlands movie, they gotta do something to recoup their money

  26. semaj009

Are they getting the alt-writers back in to script a thinly veiled anti-Semitic conspiracy theory for the main plot again?

  27. Can we please do more school stuff. And get rid of the looter aspect of it, it feels tacked on in the first game plus you look like a non-student in the class. Maybe just upgrade your wand or something

  28. ChairmanLaParka

I know the odds are slim, but I’d like a co-op element to the game. Playing alongside a friend over the phone while we played individually was fiiiine. But I’d rather have been *in* the game with them.

  29. Obstinateapollo

Idk why they wouldn’t add extensive dlc and milk the first game.. there’s so much room for activities lol

  30. WavesNVibrations

Please don’t give it roguelite elements, Soulslite combat, or a battle pass.

  31. Sony Exclusive DLC had the better quality quest than the main game quests or the final boss fight quest…

They really need a better writer
And spend more time on actual meaningful stuff.

Like hogwarts legacy combat is amazing.
It is like opposite of Witcher 3 where writing is great but the combat is the horrendous.

  32. madmad3x

Just copy the LEGO games for the classroom scenes, so you have missions where you learn spells with other classmates

  33. Kanashii2023

Hey wait a minute. I’m not falling for this again.

  34. CrotchoMan

I really, really loved the first game. Almost no complaints.

I was disappointed that there was no Quidditch and that I could kill mercilessly without repercussions. Body count higher than Voldemort with my unforgivable curses.

  35. CurrentRisk

It might just not be for me but I found the game very mediocre. Had a blast the first 3 hours and then it just felt empty. I hope the sequel will have a better story and your actions will actually have impact.

  36. Rohen2003

it needs to be way higher quality to even reach just the same level of success as the first one imo. the only reason hogwarts legacy was as popular, waa because there literally was not a single harry potter game in like the last 15 years.

  37. crimson777

I know some don’t like social games, but honestly the biggest flaw to me was not the repetitive tasks and such, it’s the lack of a social system.

Yes, people got hooked on Harry Potter because there’s magic and adventure, but I think what really captured the attention of so many kids was the *world* of Hogwarts. The houses, the classes, the balls, the relationships, etc.

The fact that there isn’t a social system of becoming friends or enemies with people, romance, actions that have consequences (answer every question right in class and gain something like intelligence, but perhaps if you are persistent enough in answering, other kids start to dislike that you’re a know-it-all?), etc. Let me figure out who I’m going to ask to the ball, try and make friends of people from other houses but make it tougher than if they’re my own (or hufflepuff, their social stats would probably be easier to grow) etc.

Also Quidditch. How in the WORLD did they think it was cool to ship that game without Quidditch? Make people try out all the positions, not just seeker. Let people play the other positions if they’d like (I think being a beater sounds fun as hell).

Also, obviously not having a plot that is problematic is a top priority, but given JKR’s tendencies, who knows what kind of plot you’re gonna get.

  38. satanic_black_metal_

I still dont get why this game sold so well. It is SO. BORING.
