Is it just me or is the top half attached at a 90° angle to the Gustolong part instead of by the actual waist stump?

Aw heck yeah!! I couldn’t have thought of a better first combo myself! Especially that this is a CROSSIL that sure don’t give a fig about aerodynamics.
What I’m REALLY curious is how Exca Bonnet is gonna bounce back from being lifted up by it. Because the way I see it, if it falls down, it’s probably never getting back up. I mean look at it. XD
