So I have a concept for new starter Pokemon. They have their secondary type as their weakness. So the typings would be Grass/Fire, Fire/Water, and Water/Grass.
Right now I’m in the process of creating these starter Pokemon. I’ve made the grass/fire evolutions already and I’m working on the fire/water starter.
Here’s my idea for the grass-fire starter along with some art that I made.
The first stage is name Pipyro.
Pipyro uses the seeds around its neck to throw as mini-bombs which explode on impact.
The second stage is Grenado.
Same thing as Pipyro, except instead of bombs around its neck, it now becomes a belt.
The third stage is Grenadile.
The new move he has is Grass Grenade. It is a physical type move that does 85 damage and has 100 accuracy. It changes between fire and grass type depending on what would be super effective. For example, for bug/steel the move would be fire-type. And for water/ground, the move would be grass-type.
I’m working on a fire/water starter next. It is a snake. I have no ideas for the water/grass starter so far. Any thoughts, questions, criticisms, suggestions, etc. would be appreciated 🙂
